A free seven-week falls prevention workshop is being offered in Beulah and Hazen this spring! Trained leaders coach you to recognize your risk of falling and help you build the balance, strength, and practical skills you need to avoid a fall. The classes will be offered on Mondays, starting March 18 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Energy Wellness Center in Beulah or from 1 - 3 p.m. at English Lutheran Church in Hazen. Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour fundraising event for charities in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
