To protect the health and safety of our patients, their families and our staff from the spread of COVID‐19 in our community and healthcare facilities, Sakakawea Medical Center has implemented a new visitor policy, effective Friday, March 13, 2020.

One visitor per patient, immediate family members only.

Family members must be healthy and will be verbally screened for signs of respiratory illness, including cough and fever.

Family members will be asked about recent travel and if they have had direct contact with a person confirmed to have COVID‐19.
Sakakawea Medical Center continues to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. It is our No. 1 priority to keep our community safe and healthy!

People living with Parkinson Disease or other neurological conditions often move differently, with gestures and actions that become smaller and slower. They may have trouble getting around, getting dressed, and with other daily activities. A new therapy offered at SMC can help patients with PD use their body more normally and slow symptom progression. Lisa Fletcher, PT, DPT, recently went through LSVT BIG training to become an LSVT BIG Certified Clinician.
